Affordable tented treehouse lodge on the banks of the Mutale river in the Limpopo province, less than 5 km from the Northern Kruger National Park’s Pafuri Gate. Self-catering or fully catered on request.

What’s special about Pafuri Camp:

Birds include the African Finfoot, Mottled Spinetail & Pel’s Fishing Owl. The camp is situated on the Greater Limpopo Birding Route. Bats and butterflies also abound.
Fishing as nature intended in the Luvuvhu River, Limpopo Valley and Tigerfishing in Makuya Park. Initiator of a local cottage industry for the harvesting of wild Baobab oil.
Eco-friendly accommodation for  a maximum of 28 people. Linen and towels are supplied. Each site has a fully equipped kitchen, toilet, shower, braai area and access to the Mutale river.
No electricity (but paraffin lamps), open fires and gas for cooking and refrigeration. A few other things we don’t have are; crime, concrete, noise and pollution. Your cell phone won’t work here either.

There is a central lapa where delicious bushcamp meals are served (on request) and a small pub next to the pool selling ice cold drinks.
